@enobacon So in theory the circuit boards and components are all potted (a layer of epoxy or something covering everything, making them waterproof; you can see the circuit board is shiny & reflective, and bubbles in the glue where the connector meets the board).

A green circuit board that says "LG Electronics", with a speaker and various capacitors and resistors and other components on it. The board itself is shiny and you can almost make out an image on it, like a dull green mirror.
