The case is set for trial in <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/February2025" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>February2025</span></a> in <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/NorthDakota" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NorthDakota</span></a>’s <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/MortonCounty" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MortonCounty</span></a>.</p><p>"The lawsuit is the second instance of Energy Transfer targeting Greenpeace with a lawsuit. Their initial effort argued that the group violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, or <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/RICO" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RICO</span></a> laws, but was dismissed by a federal judge in North Dakota.
