Things that would fit my lifestyle but can't pull the trigger on yet: a (can't decide on a brand or model), a (daunted by the learning curve, after an experience with routers)

@gus I went with a GoPro, and it largely works, although I'm not sure I could pull a license plate off of footage if I had to.

I feel you on the 3D printer though -_-

@sdwilsh getting license plate numbers is something I'd want the camera for. That, and footage of the aspects of the infrastructure that irritate me :) which model do you have?

@gus I have been using a Hero 10, but I also just got a Hero 11 (I want to have a camera pointing backwards too, and didn't think the quality of the 360 cameras was good enough).

@gus I just plug in the camera and let it auto-upload footage, so I'll try to see how well I can pull license plates some time this weekend. I've been meaning to do that anyway, so now I have more of a reason to do it 😅
