Transit + kitty day: I took my 3 year old cat Foggy on @kingcountymetro to get to our veterinarian for his annual visit & back to Beacon Hill. Foggy cried during some of it (he hates being in the cat carrier), but our vet said he’s healthy, & taking RapidRide H is awesome with its bus lanes! Took routes 36 & H to the vet, H & 60 back

@bobco85 Wow, that’s a long bus ride for a kitty! Does Foggy have a specialist there or something? We switched to Atlantic Veterinary Hospital when we moved to Beacon Hill, for a variety of reasons, but proximity being a big one.

@ottsatwork no specialist, but they really helped me when I was living in Tukwila and Reeses (my 16 yo cat) was diagnosed with a gall bladder infection years ago. After that, I have kept taking my cats to them even after moving to Beacon Hill. It also helps that it’s a simple 2 bus trip

@bobco85 I get it: we used to love our doctor at Broadway Vet when we lived in the neighborhood and before the clinic got bought up. The new doctor was rude to us, and insulted us. Never went back. When our kitty got older and had chronic kidney issues, we’d always go all the way to Lake City since the one time we took him to the emergency hospital there, they were so great.

@bobco85 @kingcountymetro Wow! What a GOOD BOI!! Riding the bus. Respect.
