@DeerWhispers i wasn't born then but I remember playing the game on a dedicated "portable" device the size of a small CRT TV. We've come a long way! (remember too by any chance?)

@gus The first system I learned was the IBM 670 in 1974 when I was a Junior in high school. Our school didn't have a computer, so i was allowed to got to our local junior college to take their course. They only had one computer, which also happened to be the one that contained all their records. The processor unit was about the size of a refrigerator. We drove the IT guys crazy by making it crash all the time when we ran a bad program lol. Not familiar with Vertex. This system ran COBOL, I think
