#kitchener & #kwawesome locals: there's a fairly quick municipal survey on downtown parking. Reducing parking in the downtown core is one of the most important ways of improving walking, cycle, and transit access -- see the land dedicated to parking in DTK from OpenStreetMap (excluding streetside and underground parking!). You can be sure some will fight change tooth an nail, so demonstrating some support behind the idea matters.

The Arts Fund is currently seeking 7-10 individuals to be Community Consultation Hosts to coordinate, facilitate and document a community conversation with other Artists to help define the priorities and potential of a series of pilots.
