Purim in the second term of the #Ahasuerus / #Haman administration:

Purim calls on us to emulate Esther, our model for saving communities threatened by the #corrupt #tyrant and his scheming, evil counselor. Our tradition demands that we intervene on behalf of #refugees, #asylumseekers, #LGBT, #women, #Ukraine, #veterans, #federalemployees, and all those targeted by #hate.

בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם בַּזְּמַן הַזֶּה .
As it was then, so it is today.

For those #FederalEmployees who are going through #JobCuts and #layoffs I have three state-specific resources for you: #Maryland , #Pennsylvania , and #Massachusetts. These sites have aggregated information about government jobs, community services, and available skills training. I hope you find them useful.

'The Healey administration launched a new website Friday to connect fired federal workers with job opportunities and training resources in Massachusetts.

More than 46,000 Massachusetts residents work for the federal government, across sectors like public administration, education, transportation, warehousing and the postal service, Healey’s office said.'

US Dist Judge #AmyBermanJackson’s ruling blocks the removal of #HamptonDellinger as head of the Office of #SpecialCounsel, which investigates #whistleblower reports filed by #GovernmentWorkers & protects #FederalEmployees from #retaliation, political #coercion & other practices that are barred in the fed workplace.

The #Trump admin has indicated in court filings that it would appeal any such ruling to #SCOTUS, which on Feb 21 declined to intervene until the litigation proceeded further.

To #FederalEmployees ---

Send him the stupid fucking #email.

Tell him you accomplished 100% of the objectives in your job description as required by your supervisor during the period in question.

Then, set it to auto send every hour to be sure he gets it.

DDoS the motherfuckers into email hell.

ps ... my wife is a federal employee and that was my advice to her so no, I'm not just shooting off my mouth.

Send the emails.

Lots, and lots, of emails saying absolutely nothing but complying with the request.

www.linkedin.comShaun Southworth on LinkedIn: #federalemployees #govjobs #elonmusk #opm #federalworker #knowyourrights…🚨 Federal Employees: How to Respond to the OPM Email 🚨 If you’re a federal employee, you’ve likely received the unusual OPM email asking you to justify your job in five bullet points. And you’ve probably seen Elon Musk’s claim that failure to respond will be treated as a resignation. 🔹 Let’s be clear: That’s legally baseless. 🔹 The email itself does NOT say that. 🔹 And for career federal employees, failure to respond cannot lawfully be treated as a resignation. But ignoring the email outright could be risky. Agencies could mischaracterize your non-response as insubordination or failure to follow instructions. ✅ What You Should Do to Protect Yourself 📌 Forward the email to your supervisor and ask for guidance. Here’s a template: Subject: Request for Guidance on OPM Email Dear [Supervisor’s Name], I received the attached email from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) asking me to provide a list of my work accomplishments from last week. The email did not originate from my agency or my chain of command, and I want to ensure I respond appropriately in compliance with agency expectations. Please advise by [end of my tour of duty on Monday] whether I am required to respond and, if so, what type of information I should include in my response. Unless I receive instruction from my agency or chain of command, I will assume there is no obligation to reply to this request. Best regards, [Your Name] [Your Position] [Your Agency] 📌 If required to respond, focus on five strong bullet points based on your performance plan, emphasizing measurable impact. 📌 Remember: This is an intimidation tactic. But you have strong civil service protections. If you face retaliation, threats, or wrongful termination, consult your union or a federal employment attorney immediately. I’ll continue monitoring this and will post updates as needed. Stay informed, stay professional, and don’t fall into any legal traps. 💬 Federal employees: What questions do you have? Judge allows #Trump to proceed w/legally questionable #buyouts

A federal judge allowed Trump to carry out his worker buyout as it continues to burn down the #USgovernment, setting back #unions & the justice system interested in stopping his plan.

Judge George O'Toole rejected a request by unions representing >800k #FederalEmployees for an order blocking the program. Unions have called the admin's buyout offer to civilian employees unlawful.

It's unclear who from the govt would sign the agreements, or whether the contracts would be legally binding.

Adding to the confusion, some of the sample contract language diverges from the first email, which came from the [#ElonMusk infiltrated] #OPM w/the subject line "Fork in the Road," & other guidance presented to date.

#Trump admin adds #FinePrint to #FederalEmployees #buyout offer

It's been a week since nearly all 2.3M civilian employees of the #FederalGovernment were presented w/an offer: Agree to resign from your job by Feb 6 & keep your pay & benefits through the end of Sept.

Now, w/the deadline nearing, #FederalAgencies have sent out new terms & conditions in the form of a sample #contract agreement that employees are told they can use to "memorialize" the deal.

The "informal" grievance filing is a required first step to a "formal" grievance filing...and the window is very narrow!
"If you have been placed on administrative leave due to the OPM memo on DEIA positions, or have otherwise faced negative administrative actions, you still retain the ability to fight back. But time is limited, so here’s what you should consider doing right now."
